Upgraded to WordPress 3.5 “Elvin”

I was supposed to write about Jetpack after upgrading to WordPress 3.4.2 but as I was learning more about it, WordPress released the new WordPress 3.5 “Elvin” version on December 11, 2012.

So, instead of writing about Jetpack especially since I am still discovering it, I updated first the Websites including blogs using WordPress.

I will have to delay writing about Jetpack until I have learned more about it, not only about its features like Sharing and Post by Email because Jetpack has a lot of features other than the two I mentioned.

Anyway, I finished upgrading today the twenty (20) Websites including blogs using WordPress as a blog publishing platform as well as a CMS or Content Management System.

It took some time again as I did not upgrade them all at the same day. As usual, it was because of my own process of upgrading the sites and blogs.

Well, I did not encounter any problems. Upgrading the sites and blogs from WordPress 3.4.2 to WordPress 3.5 “Elvin” went smoothly just like when I upgraded to WordPress 3.4.2 from WordPress 3.4.1.

Below is the video of WordPress 3.5 “Elvin” at a glance.

You can download the new WordPress release from WordPress.org Website.

Remember, before upgrading to the new the version, please backup your database and files.

Thank you again, WordPress Team!
